I began teaching exercise back in the early nineties in Winchester, teaching Exercise to Music, having trained with the YMCA. My love of yoga developed over the years and I decided to train through Yoga Alliance to become a yoga teacher and concentrate purely on teaching yoga.


I particularly enjoy teaching complete beginners, at whatever age – you’re never too young or too old to take up yoga! I truly care about my clients and take a lot of time to ensure yoga is done in a safe way, at your own pace and level, with clear instructions and guidance. We are all different, we all have different body shapes, strengths and weaknesses and it is important to recognise these.


Yoga can be for life. In my teaching I encourage people to think about their bodies throughout the day, not just in the yoga class! A strong mind and body is what we are aiming for throughout our days, not just for an hour or so a week.


Yoga can be fun! I teach in a relaxed style where people can feel comfortable whatever their level or experience with yoga. I believe it is important to enjoy any form of exercise we choose to make part of our lives. If we don’t enjoy it, we won’t stick to it!
